“This place is fine when you’re passing through the area. I would not stay more then one.”
+No breakfast…unless you call a basket of granola bars breakfast.
−The bed frame was a hollow metal box … I kept kicking it, making a load noise every time… really annoying!

“It was short overnite stay- suited the plans for staying in Hood River”
+The property is well kept with a variety foliage and roses. Very inviting /welcome scene. The Double Queen room was clean and fresh smell, comfortable. Beds /coverings are comfortable , enuf warm covers . Basic amenities working. It is not a franchise / or formal hotel- I like to support the local business-
−I didn’t have any major issues- it seems to be a nice getaway stay - with minimalist features.

“Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and safe.”
+After touring the fruit loop with my girlfriends we checked in at the lodge located close to downtown Hood River. It was only a five minute walk to breakfast at Egg River Cafe where they had a varied menu with delicious food. We walked through the neighborhood just northeast of the lodge and saw many beautiful and unique homes. We drove just a few minutes up the road to walk and shop. You have to pay for parking. Dinner at 3 Rivers Grill was excellent. Everyone was seated on the patio, enjoying their meal and sunset in early October (dogs welcome). Returning to the lodge we felt safe and comfortable in our clean rooms. I was able to park 5 ft from my room on the first floor. Overall, a great trip with my friends. Thank you Riverview Lodge.
−The TV kept lagging every few minutes making it difficult to watch.

“Would not recommend.”
+There was no breakfast. Location was fine.
−The room was run down in need of remodeling. The repairs made in the bathroom are horrible. The caulking is done poorly, the door skin is starting to delaminate. The bathtub did not have a bath mat and was very slippery. The only ice available was outdoors next to the office which was in a different building from our room. The price was very high compared to the value received.

“Perfect for our needs!”
+A good clean space to stay not far from the main street in Hood River. Not fancy but a little river view and Mt. Adams in the distance.
−I did wish there were a few rooms with king beds.

+the hot tub was broken which was a major bummer

+Beautiful little property in a great, walkable location!! Owner is super sweet and very accommodating, check in and check out were very convenient. Rooms were clean and well kept, and the service was excellent. Would absolutely stay again!

“A bit pricey for a basic roadside motel”
+The motel is well situated within Hood River. It's on the edge of downtown but close to supermarkets and fast food options.
−The nightly rate was pretty high for what essentially is a standard roadside motel room. The bed was not the most comfortable. Housekeeping visited my room only once during my three night stay.
