“Nicht zu empfehlen, kein 4 Sterne Hotel”
+Das Zimmer wie auch das ganze Hotel waren sehr veraltet. Das Frühstück war nicht mehr als ok, das Personal war sehr unmotiviert.
−Zimmer ringhörig, Haus und Inventar sehr veraltet und niemals 4 Sterne würdig. Das Personal an der Bar beim Restaurant konnte nicht motiviert werden uns zu bedienen!

−Ercolano n'est pas une très belle ville. Sans voiture c'est compliqué. L'hôtel pourrait être plus beau. Les chambres sont minimalistes et méritent une rénovation

“Was für ein Ausblick.”
+Das Hotel liegt am Meer und hatten einen großen Schwimmer-Pool. Wir hatten vom Balkon und dem Zimmer einen schönen Ausblick auf das Meer und auf Sorrent, Capri, Ischia und Neapel. Man kann mit Bus und Zug einfach nach Neapel kommen, die Ausgrabungsstätte kann man auch zu Fuß erreichen.
−Durch den Streik war es etwas schwieriger, wir wurden durch das Personal aber umfassend informiert und unterstützt. Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen aber dafür auch ruhig für italienische Verhältnisse.

“Good location”
+Nice place near ancient Herculaneum and the seaside. Nice views to the Neapolitan bay. The pool area was nice, the bar's service excellent. The reception staff was helpful and friendly.
−The beds were a bit old, the mattresses sagged in the middle. The breakfast staff were unfriendly. On the second morning, the serving dishes were not replenished, and many items were missing. We had been informed that breakfast would be served until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, but this was not the case. Instead of a cappuccino, we were served nothing but lukewarm milk foam, with no coffee at all.

“Heerlijk ontspannen, rustig en net hotel met geweldig uitzicht.”
+Veel pluspunten. Uitzicht staat stijf bovenaan; geweldig. Opvallend schoon; niet gehorig. Omgeving rustig, geen verkeersgeluid behalve in de verte elk kwartier de trein (zeker niet storend). Prima ontbijt; wel elke dag hetzelfde en maar 2 soorten fruitsap, maar verder helemaal ok, o.a. de goede koffie. Vriendelijk personeel.
−Details; geen grote minpunten: geen waterkoker op de kamer, en trein- en metrostation is even lopen.

+Het hotel ligt pal aan zee.Het grote terras bij het zwembad heeft ook een poolbar en deze combinatie maakt, dat je hier heerlijk kan vertoeven. Het ontbijt is erg goed met veel keuze De kamer is verder goed, maar verwacht niet al te veel. Mijn kamer had ook een balkon.
−Mijn kamer keek uit op een gebouw aan de overkant.Ik vroeg om een andere kamer en ze zeiden, dat die er niet was., wat ik betwijfelde.De bedden waren voor mij te zacht En in de badkamer was geen haakje om je handdoek op te hangen. Er was een heerlijke regendouche. Er zijn verschillende zwembaden en een fitnessruimte Deze laatste heeft zijn beste tijd gehad..

+The location at the Gulf of Naples is very nice, we had a seaside room and enjoyed the view every day. The outdoor pools were still open in middle of October and warm enough to be used; that seems to be a lucky condition. We went to Pompei and Napoli by train by walking to the station in Torre del Greco (<25min); however it was good to have a car and we could park it safely and without extra charge on the Hotel backyard. The breakfast was a very good italian offer, we could not understand some of the bad reviews on that. The staff at the bar was kind and supportive and we have got fresh fruits, different varieties of coffee, juice, fresh cake, bacon, sausage, quite good cheese, yogurt every day. OK, the bread options were limited and the scrambled egg was not great, but we could live with this easily (again compared to typical italian breakfasts). There is a ping pong table on the area; we could borrow paddles and a ball, which was nice; however we recommend to bring own equipment.
−a) Actually, the room was not in a very good condition; the minibar-fridge made a loud noise also during the night, there were no pictures at the wall although unused hooks from earlier times are still in the walls, the paint at the wall seems to be of a similar age. b) the surrounding of the Hotel area is not inviting for a walk or for going out. The trash of the Hotel, Sports Club and Restaurant was piled up at the entrance; the center of Ercolano and Torre del Greco are practically too far to walk easily so we needed to use the car every evening. c) We did not like the situation with the indoor sports and swimming pool. Indeed, we understood during the booking, that an indoor pool and fitness center is available for Hotel guests; however, it turned out to be operated by another company and Hotel guests need to get members in the sports club and book and pay courses to use the facilities. The indoor pool was booked out completely during our stay from 7:30 to 21:30 such stat there was no possibility to use it; it is also closed on Sundays. The staff at the reception seems not to know about the times of courses and referred us to the operators website only. An additional aspect of
