“Absolutely excellent would return”
+The property was close to everything and the fact we had our room cleaned everyday with fresh towels supplied. Staff were helpful constantly and always pleasant
−Nothing

“Overpriced and not as advertised on your website”
+Staff were friendly
−For an executive room the bed was a let down, it was just two single beds pushed together that left a huge void in the centre. Photographs were exaggerated as well. Room did not reflect the quality of the pictures on the website

“Excellent hôtel”
+Établissement très bien placé, proche du centre. La chambre était très propre et confortable. Le personnel était aimable et accueillant.
−Seule petit point négative l’insonorisation des chambres

“Overpriced”
+Great staff and service, good central location
−Outdated, felt more like a motel than a hotel and way overpriced for what you get. The bathroom has no ventilation so it smelt strongly of damp; the ‘high speed internet’ was atrocious and the walls were very thin so you could hear other people showering etc. I personally would not recommend this hotel at the price they are charging

“Okay but not great.”
+Great location
−No parking. The bed was only a double. The door did not close easily. The toilet seat was loose.. Was charged for a breakfast I didn’t have (they are refunding)

“Luckily it was only for 1 night. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.”
−The pool area was dirty and not overly inviting. It was very cramped. For a distination like Cairns, the pool is a critical facility. The rooms were not very sound proof. We were on the first floor and could hear a lot of noise from surrounding rooms. The view from the room was terrible - into a carpark. The bathroom was extremely cramped. I could hardly close the door when trying to get to the toilet. If I had been an extremely overweight person, I would not have fit.

“We had a comfortable stay and staff were friendly”
+Excellent location especially for families. Less than a 5 min walk to Aquarium, esplanade, many food options and an excellent playground. Desk staff were friendly if approached, reception area lovely and bright. Housekeeping staff very smiley and welcoming when we crossed paths. Nice having a coffee machine in room, esp w kids having very early starts.
−Bathroom not cleaned well prior to check in - lots of hair etc both in shower and on bthrm floor. Kids TV didn't work at check in however maintenance repaired this day 2 on request. My main disappointment was not having a toaster in the family room. I bkd here knowing our kids would be up at 4-5am (time diff) wanting breakfast. I wish I'd read reviews as this is a common complaint going back 2+ years.
