“Perfect quiet location to return to every night.”
+Lovely small traditional hotel in a quiet area. Beautiful inner courtyard filled with trees and flowers. Easy walk to the train station. Friendly staff, especially Emma, who went out of her way to help make our stay very comfortable! We very much appreciated the upgrade to a suite. An absolutely beautiful accommodation!
−Initially difficult to find the front entrance on our arrival. Did not realize it is not directly on the Av.Durante. The accommodation itself was lovely.

“Сырость , холод , дискомфорт”
+локация - близость к жд вокзалу и туристическому центру . Приятный персонал ,
−В номере холодно ,запах затхлости и сырости . В ванной вода не сохнет , тк нет отопления идет грибок по стенам , заходить туда крайне неприятно . Неудобство с чемоданами , нет лифта . Милая девушка с ресепшена нам помогала с чемоданами . На самом деле , в старых зданиях это принимается . Но не сырость , грибок на стенах и затхлость .

+L'emplacement idéal pour découvrir Nice, le petit déjeuner excellent avec de très bons produits, un personnel très aimable et à l'écoute.
−L'exiguïté de la chambre et surtout de la salle de bain, minuscule, absolument pas à la hauteur d'un quatre étoiles, un état douteux des carrelages, peinture et moquette, poignée de porte brinquebalante, système électrique défectueux (les lampes s'éteignant après quelques minutes d'éclairage sans aucune manipulation de notre part ...) : tout cela n'est pas du tout à la hauteur d'un quatre étoiles ( prix de la chambre payé par jour = 210 € ! ) sans aucun service de chambre, une seule personne à l'accueil, chargée aussi de la préparation des petits déjeuners !

+Quiet location and really near to the train station. Bed was comfortable.
−A few issues with the bedrooms. Air con leaking and drain smell.

+Room was very clean and Staff was friendly.
−Room was very small. The property is advertised as a 4 star; however, it did not reflect that quality.

+August 2026 - We've been traveling from Berlin via Austria and Switzerland down to Nice, all by train, and staid in partly beautiful and partly "interesting" accommodations. Maison Durante was the first (and only) one where my husband and I felt not only honestly welcome, but almost as if they've been waiting for us to arrive, so they could treat us like a king and queen - it was FANTASTIC. Location, rooms, yard, small gifts and oooooh, le petit déjeuner... ❤️❤️❤️ If I could, I'd beam myself to their breakfast room daily. What a goddamn treat. We canceled the hotel in Cannes that we booked for our last night just to stay in Nice and their second hotel, LAMARTINE, for another 24 hours (because DURANTE was full and only a short walk away). It has a slightly different vibe (more urban), but the staff, comfort and hospitality was just as fabulous and I can (and will!) highly recommend both houses... chef's kiss! 👌🏽 Merci pour tout et à bientôt!

“Great lil’ hotel next to train station. Easy walking distance to Promenade, city center. Excellent staff.”
+Location to Nice-Ville station can’t be beat. Room was excellent, breakfast wonderful, a bottle of cold white wine in the courtyard

“Lovely, charming and comfortable”
+Very conveniently located, tucked away in an alley and benefitting from a charming courtyard for lounging outdoors (weather permitting). Love the mini artisans market they organized on a Sat. afternoon.
−Be aware that room No. 1 is right at the entrance of the hotel and on top of the reception. So there may be some foot traffic going in and out of the hotel (but not a problem for an early riser).

“מלון מומלץ בניס”
+המלון מאד נעים ויפה לשהייה ממוקם קרוב לרחוב המרכזי באזור שקט ובטוח עם חנייה בתשלום סמלי אם צריך. החדרים מאד נקיים הצוות נחמד, קיבלנו המלצות לבילויים בעיר ועזר בכל מה שהיינו צריכים
