“Few issues. But I'd stay here again”
+Location was great, like 10 min walk from the garden, next door to queens, lots of restaurants and bars close by, access into the building was great.
−It was clean but it also wasn't, found hair in my bed and I am green and black colour hair the hair was brown. Some of the floor was dirty but note it is an hold building so this didn't bother me. There was a stain on the bathroom floor but also wasn't a big issue. Lack of amenities was a little bit of a let down, 2 lots of shampoo and conditioner but no body soap, only hand soap. Stayed for 3 nights 4 days and had only 1 set of towels, and if we wanted fresh towels it was a $2 extra charge per towel, which i find rather inconvenient as we pay enough, if staying 1 night I understand but 3 nights and 4 days should have at least 2 sets, specially in Brissie heat. Also no daily room tidy up, wasn't a big issue but should have been told at reception on check in. The cleanliness of this place isn't an issue. It is very clean just small things that need a little more attention. I would stay here again, just some small things that should be bought up on check in.

“Great location but crappy crapper.”
+In fairness, Macarthur Chambers is located perfectly for exploring the Botanical Gardens, for access the arts precinct and for walking around the amazing waterways. The apartment was on level one and well insulated to the busy streets outside.
−The apartment seemed to be undergoing renovations with the ensuite closed and a spare single bed placed in the corner of the lounge…a bit strange but whatever. The clincher was the toilet seat on the only other toilet which was completely unattached to the toilet. this was only discovered after a near miss events that almost landed me on the ground beside the toilet. I tried to repair it but there were years of “brown” built up around the connecting pieces and I didn’t have gloves. It looked like repairs had been attempted before with a couple of rusty screws added. Anyhow, we reported it and were told by the lovely concierge that it was a priority. There were numerous near miss events using the toilet over the next three days with no repairs made. Come on guys…..$50 from Bunnings and you can buy a soft close replacement toilet seat and DIY.
