−La chambre vue sur cour , sans ciel . Le petit déjeuner à prendre dans la chambre , gobelets en carton et croissants sous plastique… Nous pensions que le petit déjeuner était servi en salle .

“Hotel Barrett is a welcoming place with an excellent location in Rome. A little home away from home.”
+The people that work at the reception are excellent. Raz is a nice, intelligent person and we enjoyed conversing with him. Also, Annetta is a helpful, kind and intelligent woman. These two people who work as receptionists are a strength of this hotel. The hotel has an excellent location. The area is quiet at night and the windows are almost soundproof.
−The room is small by our standards but very clean. The breakfast items in room could be eliminated or significantly reduced. There are inexpensive places for breakfast within a short walk away from the touristic area.

−There is no elevator but the staff had no trouble carrying the luggage up. There are several stairs to reach the reception desk. The room is small.

+Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage ist mittendrin und dennoch nicht laut, man kann eigentlich alles zu Fuß erreichen.

−Estrutura antiga e parece um museu entulhado de objetos que dificultam até sentar no sofá. Café auto serviço no quarto com tudo artificial, embalados e enlatados. A recepção é uma bagunça. A decoração do quarto assusta. Não acessível. Sobe muitas escadas para chegar à recepção.

“Curate's egg”
+Location superb, staff extremely friendly and helpful
−The property in on the third floor with no lift and many steps to negotiate. Staff were extremely helpful in aiding us to carry luggage up and down though initially we carried it up one of the three floors ourselves. On one occasion our return late was delayed because one of the hotel bells seemed not to be working. Nothing is said about these stairs in your description 'Good breakfast' in description suggests a served breakfast with fresh bread or croissants. Only close reading of small print discloses longlife breakfast items are amassed in baskets in the room ( much reducing available surfaces) and in its fridge ( leaving little room for water) . As another reviewer noted these include a wide range of snacks which could be eaten by guests who did not appreciate the cuisine of the excellent nearby Roman restaurants, but for us a small amount of fresh bread and croissants would have been preferable

+L'emplacement est vraiment parfait pour visiter Rome.Le personnel de l'hôtel est prévenant et attentionné. Les snackings et autres goûters mis à disposition, inclus dans le prix sont très appréciables. Ce n'est certes pas de la très grande qualité mais c'est déjà très bien.
−Les chambres sont vraiment petites surtout si vous êtes plus que 2. L'insonorisation est également moyenne.

+המיקום מעולה, ממש במרכז רומא הצוות מצויין אנטה ורז ואלברטו, אדיבים וסימפטיים נענו לכל פנייה ובקשה. לאחר לילה ראשון העבירו אותנו לחדר יותר גדול ונוח יותר עם מרפסת סלסלות עם מצרכים ומקרר עמוס בכל טוב והכל ללא תוספת תשלום
−המלון נמצא בקומה שלישית ללא מעלית, בלילה הראשון שהינו בחדר מאוד צפוף ומאוד לא נוח עבורנו היה רעש בלתי נסבל כל הלילה

“Did i say we loved it!”
+Everything. We were two ladies 78 and 81. Very close to everything in historical rome center. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a bldg but they come down to street level and carry your suitcases up for you. It’s a very quirky hotel. We absolutely loved it. There were more complimentary snacks than 2 people could eat in a wk. staff is very accommodating. Did i say we loved it. The rooms are on the small side which we knew when we booked. We had 2 twin beds
