“Mildew odor in rooms, no pool or hot-tub”
−The room smelled so badly like mildew it was almost impossible to breathe. We turned off the AC and opened the windows and it helped some but even our clothes that were in the room smelled afterwards. The pool and hot tub area obviously hasn't been available for some time- it was closed the entire time and while work looks started with some equipment strewn about, we never saw anyone working on it. I've stayed in plenty of Econo Lodge and similar motels and this is probably one of the worst I've encountered. The smell still kind of haunts me and honestly I wonder what we breathed in.

“Terrible, bed bugs, unhelpful staff”
+bed bugs, can't get a receipt from the property, they said they would refund our second night because of the bed bugs, but they have not followed up on that promise
−bed bugs, old facilities, rooms not cleaned, trash in trash can, bottle rings on the counter tops, etc

“Good value, room had odor, but good service.”
+Close to the highway, easy access.
−The room had an awful odor, maybe a little musty. Hard to get past it.

“I would not choose it again.”
−Our blackout curtains were riddled with holes-the appeared to be 10-20 years old. (The carpet was new, and beds were comfy.) The exterior of the building was weedy and unkempt.

“This place was surprisingly nice and mostly quiet. The attention by Frank at the front desk was well appreciated! We wou”
+Great location just off main road. Frank met us at the front desk and even helped us with our luggage and cooler all the way to our room! He also gave us 3 bottles of cold water! Clean and very spacious updated room with plenty of towels. There’s even a telephone in the bathroom!! Great well established Mexican restaurant right next door.
−Pool was not in working order but it appeared as if there were some kind of improvements being made. The TV was a bit confusing and difficult to operate but we finally figured it out so we could watch what we wanted to. Towels were plentiful but on the thin side. There is a train track directly across from the motel and runs frequently. However, I didn’t hear any going through the night or we must have slept right through the horn blowing! The breakfast was rather skimpy on the offerings but coffee was good.
