“Wonderful hotel with close transport links to London.”
+It’s was just amazing , rooms are beautifully decorated and comfy, staff very friendly and welcoming. Food just fantastic! Only a 10 min walk from the train station along well lit main road . Well worth a visit especially it you dislike the hustle of the city centre hotels. Only 20+ mins to Euston , no noticeable noise from the pub below. And they also played a bit of nick drake during breakfast an absolute bonus in my opinion!
−That they made me go home at the end of the stay .. boo hiss🤣

“Lovely, comfortable quiet stay”
+Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I wasn't really expecting much. I thought it would just be your average pub hotel but it was lovely. The hotel room was well appointed with some really thoughtful details in design. There were some delicious home made cookies complimentary and a good selection of snacks available in the room. The beds were comfortable, the decor cosy, the room was quiet, eventhough I had misgivings being on the ground floor overlooking the carpark and being at a pub. I will definitely stay here again and have recommended it to friends and family.
−On check-in I was told breakfast was served from 7am but as I was staying over the weekend this time changes so when I went to have breakfast on the Saturday I was told it only opened at 8am (I arrived on a Thursday). I had to check out that day so had no breakfast as I had to be elsewhere that morning so that was disappointing as I would like to have tried it (I had booked room only) as it looked really good. It was a shame the person on reception didn't cover that the times change on the weekend. The TV didn't work but it was too late to call anyone when we discovered the problem but it was swiftly resolved the next day and everything was fine. Small gripes that did not impact on my overall stay.

“Our stay was an enjoyable,quiet,comfortable,relaxing stay.”
+Our room was superb. There was a dog mat outside the door, a big dog bed and a welcome dog treat box . There was an array of treats on a tray to purchase if we so wished. The bed was ginormous and very comfy. We ate in our room because our room was SO GREAT. Our food was ALSO superb. Shower room ultra modern with a good shower.
−We did not like the fact that we had to check out in the morning as our stay was wonderful. We can HIGHLY recommend this hotel /pub to stay in .

+Excellent room with a very comfy bed and good shower. Great having pub and restaurant downstairs.

“A brilliant stay.”
+The hotel room was lovely and restful with good quality Pillows and a comfortable bed. The amenities in the room were plentiful though there could be a little more overall lighting and the television needs sorting out. The food was of good quality, plentiful and hot.
−The lighting in the room and the Television needs resetting.

−Nothing really. Shame we were unable to sample the breakfast. Would’ve been nice to have it included.
