“Lovely oasis of calm on the Firth of Forth”

“Ottimo!”
+Camere spaziose, pulite e, in alcuni casi, con una vista mozzafiato sul Firth of Forth. La colazione (a pagamento), servita nella caffetteria al piano terra, è eccezionale e lo staff è accogliente e gentile. La posizione è tranquilla e suggestiva, a pochi minuti da Dunfermline e a circa 40 minuti di auto da Edimburgo. Parcheggio in strada (c'è quasi sempre posto), oppure nel parcheggio di fronte gratuitamente con il tagliandino rilasciato dall'hotel. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

“Great stay in a bright, spacious room with wonderful views!”
+Lovely, bright spacious room with wonderful views! Room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were very friendly. Food in the Cafe downstairs is delicious and the sones were excellent! Definitely recommend eating there if you are staying.
−The only thing to mention is we went to the cafe downstairs twice - there needs this be a better system for service as it all felt quite chaotic (staff are lovely and friendly though!)

“Très agréable séjour de 3 nuits.”
+Chambre confortable avec une décoration typique. Emplacement idéal ( le lieu géographique et la vue). Les attentions dans la chambre ainsi que la carte de parking sont très appréciables.
−Nous avons été intrigués par le fonctionnement aléatoire du chauffage et du thermostat de la douche que nous avons pas pu régler. Cependant nous avons toujours eu de l eau chaude.

−Leider war das Zimmer nicht geheizt, als wir ankamen, so dass es dauerte, bis es warm wurde.

“Escale furtive à Limekilns”
+Chambre de bonne qualité et joliment décorée offrant une très jolie vue sur le "Firth of Forth". Etablissement proche de l'aéroport d'Edimbourg, très utile lors de vols très matinaux.
−Il s'agit d'un hébergement rattaché à un café et non pas un hôtel, donc pas de personnel à disposition. De plus le café ferme à 16h30 il faut donc arriver à temps pour prendre possession de la chambre grâce à une employée du café qui nous a accueilli très aimablement. Attention, le numéro de taxi proposé par le café n'est pas fiable pour commander un taxi pour l'aéroport.

“Comfortable and relaxing stay.”
+Self-check-in was really easy and we were delighted with the size of the room and how clean it was. The on street parking made it easy for us to manage our luggage and the street itself was very quiet. We had a great view from our room and when going to sleep the curtains provided great coverage so we weren't woken by early morning light. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom also large with a good shower. The in room hospitality tray was very generous with a great selection. The building was quiet and despite there being a cafe underneath we heard no noise in the morning. We did visit the cafe for breakfast and it was delicious with a lovely atmosphere.
−There's not much not to like! I'd say maybe another light outside at the path leading to the cafe would be helpful. We stayed in the family room and a small lamp between the single beds would have been great for reading and not disturbing the other people in the room. Just minor points really.
