−We booked this place through Booking mainly because of the low price. On arrival, the host was friendly and allowed us to store our luggage before check-in, which we appreciated. However, when we returned later, we started feeling uncomfortable. The rooms looked nice at first glance, but the furniture was very worn (e.g. a damaged sofa), the floor was dirty, and there were hairs on the floor and even in the bed, despite it appearing freshly made. When it started raining heavily, water leaked from the ceiling into the bathroom, where there was already visible mold. We informed the host that we were unhappy with the cleanliness, but no solution was offered. As a result, we decided not to stay and booked another place. Communication was handled via a WhatsApp contact, as the host did not speak English. After our departure, we reached out again to ask whether at least the remaining 2 of 4 nights could be refunded. While we understood that a refusal might be possible, we were repeatedly told that we would receive a response, but after weeks of follow-up, no reply was ever provided. −Extrêmement déçus de cette expérience, nous avions réservé une nuitée et en arrivant on nous fait savoir que l'hôtel est complet et que nous devons aller ailleurs. Impossible de joindre le gérant qui ne me répond pas au téléphone, ni à mon mail. Et pour le moment aucune suite à ma demande de remboursement...je déconseille fortement cet établissement.

+Niente, la stanza assegnata, macraba direi, era priva di finestra, mobili vecchi e polverosi, lenzuola sintetiche senza coprimaterasso, doccia completamente coperta da calcare Un posto vergognoso da mettere in vendita su booking, indubbiamente una vera casa jucateca. Sono fuggita prenotando un’altra struttura la mattina alle 6.00, avrei dovuto trascorrerci 5 giorni
−La posizione in zona poco illuminata L’host non apriva la porta chiusa a chiave, il tassista ha amorevolmente atteso che mi aprissero, gentilezza che ho molto apprezzato

“An experience in a colonial style old house”
+Lovely host and beautiful house. Not too far from the centre.
−The host needs some help as he is doing everything on his own. The room wasn't very clean and the drains smelt bad. But I cant complain as it was super cheap. I pulled my neck opening the front door as the lock is on the floor.

“Kind host and prettiest hotel in Merida”
+Such a pretty hotel! We loved the stay. The room was big, well equipped and clean. It was very quiet. It has a pool and kitchen and living room you can use. The host was super kind definitely big recommendation!
