“Perfect stopover for a night or two while traveling through the Black Spur.”
+Restaurant, bar, accomodation all at the one location. It’s a perfect stopover while passing through on a road trip. We rode motorcycles and the staff were very accomodating with where we parked them. Room was spacious. Owners and staff are very friendly. Great bar and restaurant.

“Lovely spot not far from Melbourne”
+The Black Spur Inn is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway, or a stop in travels along the Maroondah. We loved the setting, the comfort of the rooms, the friendly service and the delicious food and breakfast. If you are looking for a place close to Melbourne that is nestled in nature and offers comfort, good food and great service, then this is it. We really enjoyed our weekend retreat here and plan to be back soon. Thank you everyone at the Black Spur Inn for a fabulous stay.

“Cosy and like stepping back into the 1980s in all the good ways.”
+We booked the Black Spur and immediately upon entry wondered why everyone had given it such good ratings, as it seemed very tired. But then it just kept getting better and better. The room was super comfy, warm (coldest weekend of the winter) and had everything we needed. The meals downstairs were INCREDIBLE. Tasty and so generous. And the lounge was super family-oriented with lots of little kids and families. Delightful.
−When we arrived, I would have said the dated furnishings. But ultimately everything was super clean and really comfortable - look beyond your immediate impression.

“Amazing”
+Staff were very friendly and helpful Always . They go above and beyond. Food is magnificent, and rooms are clean, comfortable and so relaxing. I love this place for a reset it amazing.

−Bathroom in our room was 9/10 for cleanliness but that is all I can say. The rest was perfect!

“Warm and welcoming hotel in beautiful location and very welcoming staff.”
+We stayed for one night before a one day snow trip to Lake Mountain. The hotel is warm and has a cosy ambiance, very clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and welcoming. We had two three year olds with us and they were also made very welcome. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant and the included breakfast was good.
