“If you can get a good deal, it’s worth the price, but I wouldn’t pay a ton to stay here.”
+The lobby has a nice modern feel. The bed is big. Good amount of desk and closet space
−Bed was uncomfortable, rooms were scuffed up and not the cleanest, toilet was broken when I first entered the room and I had to reattached the chain to get it to flush.

“You get what you pay for at this location”
+Location was fine. Room was nice and cold and clean.
−The place just looked run down. One elevator not working, hot in elevator, just looks like it needs to be updated

“Rundown, overpriced and poorly managed”

−Everything is falling apart. It's like the owners have already got their money out of it and have packed it in. People are still paying so they're keeping it open. They have two elevators, one of which actually works! Plus, the one that does work is incredibly slow. Stairs only have an exit. There's no way to use the stairs to go up! What?! Put a card reader on the stairwells managers! Ridiculous! It was pretty dirty too. Linens were clean but room looks rundown and in heavy need of updates. Overall, don't stay here. A motel 6 would probably be a better bet!

“Never staying in an Aloft again.”
+The front desk employee was great and did what she could. She was responsive to our questions and requests. Seeing her interact with other hotel guests suggests to me she understands the hospitality business.
−We had to change rooms due to certain lights and the phone not working. The new room was okay but the bathroom was not properly cleaned. As it was getting late and we had already relocated rooms once we made due but it's clearly an aging hotel. Then, only one of two treadmills was operational. Marriott can do better.

“It was great!”
+I liked the pool table in the lobby. I liked the whole place.
−I liked everything about my stay. The only negative was we had an ironing board but no iron. But we were on vacation, so wrinkles didn’t matter. If we had asked for an iron, I’m sure they would have supplied one.

“My New Go-To”
+I appreciated how close it was to our event location for the weekend. It was less than 5 minutes away. The young lady working at the front desk when we checked in was kind, polite and made the whole process quick and easy. My son and I had been up since 4am that morning and had been out in the sun the majority of the day. All we wanted was to get to our room and go to sleep. Our room was clean. It was quiet. The beds were clean and comfortable. We had family that were in town also that were unable to get a room at Aloft. They were not pleased at all with their rooms.
−I only had 2 small issues. The mini refrigerator was under the bathroom counter. It was not secured well. So when I tried to open the door, the entire refrigerator moved. The other issue was street lighting shining into the room. The window shade was not quite wide enough to cover the entire width of the window.

“There was no stay, and I'm extremely upset about it.”
+Nothing. I didn't get to experience this location at all. They turned me away at the desk despite having made a reservation 5 weeks prior saying guests with "higher status" had arrived before me and they were fully booked.
−Despite having a reservation, they told me that my Booking.com reservation did not actually hold a room for me, and that they'd overbooked and could not accommodate me. I had to find a new place to stay at 9pm. No one has issued me a refund yet for a stay I was unable to use as booked.
