“Lovely apartment in beautiful Tintern”
+Right in the middle of Tintern Walking distance to pubs and the Abbey Spacious apartment with comfortable furnishings and lovely lounge
−Apartment had no shower gel easily rectified by the local shop 50m away

+Average accommodation in what we would describe as a traditional New Zealand Bach. Nice view of the river and hills.
−The apartment could do with a renovation to make it really nice.

“Great location and views, horrible mold smell”
+The location and the river view are wonderful. The parking right across the street is good, too.
−There is a horrible mold smell in the kitchen. If it hadn’t been warm enough to keep the windows open, it would have been unbearable. We hope that the owners fix this problem as it otherwise a good flat.

“We loved the flat and the beds were very comfortable, the flat was a great base for exploring the surrounding area.”
+It was very neat and tidy and it catered for all our needs. All the rooms were laid out perfectly. The beds were very comfortable.

“Tintern”
+Brilliant location in a beautiful village overlooking the river ,5 minutes drive into Chepstow and the race course Lovely warm shower and comfortable bed ..
−Apartment was very damp constantly emptying the de humidifier which had to be on every day, kitchen cupboards and pans full of mould ,old newspapers on floor in between sofas,fridge and oven were filthy.

“A very relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Wales. The apartment was excellent.”
+A really lovely apartment in a superb location. This apartment has a wonderful view of the river and is literally across the road from the Abbey Mill. We parked the car up and walked everywhere, it was very relaxing and peaceful. The apartment has everything that you need and everything works really well. The television is very easy to use and the wi-fi code is in a clear place to see. The car parking facility is very good and very easy to find and to get in and out of. It was fantastic that the host contacted me a week before and gave me all the details. In all the years I have been using Booking.com that isn't usually the case, it is either on the day or sometimes we even have to contact them. This made it even better as you know you are going somewhere where the host really cares, they even messaged us to check we had got in okay.
−Nothing, it was a really good little break.
