+Good sized property
−The pre-arrival process was very confusing. We received multiple ai automated messages to complete the registration, all with different forms in each link. We filled out the registration multiple times via multiple links and different forms, and received confirmation each time that it was completed. The registration consisted of providing our personal details and photos of our passports. After completing this registration process multiple times, we continued to receive messages every few hours the day prior to arrival, the day of arrival and throughout our stay, that we had not completed the registration. This continued after we again confirmed with the property managers it was completed, overall was very confusing and not comforting that they securely held onto our personal information and passport details. When arriving at the property, we arrived via taxi with our luggage, only to find the taxi was unable to get up the very steep and narrow hill. We then had to walk up the hill with our luggage, and then up a flight of stairs to get to the property, so overall not very accessible for people with big, or lots of luggage, families with prams etc. elderly people, or people with dis

+We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Hakone. The place was spacious, very well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Communication with the hosts was excellent,they were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We truly regret staying only one night and would have loved to spend more time here. Highly recommended!

“Up a steep road”
+Should have been suitable, spacious
−Not cleaned before we arrived☹️☹️☹️rubbish, unmade beds, wet towels. Hosts uncontactable. Very very disappointing. Up a very steep road and driveway won't suit everybody esp if you plan to walk from the bus stop or train station with luggage

“A beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped home that made our stay truly enjoyable.”
+We absolutely loved our stay! The house was gorgeous, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable, and it had all the amenities we could ask for. It really felt like a home away from home,we’d love to come back!
−The only downside was the location,it’s a bit far from the train station and the road leading up to the house is quite steep. Not a big issue if you have a car or go by taxi, but worth keeping in mind when planning your stay.

“We definitely wouldn’t of chose this property as the driveway was like climbing Mount fuji, as we didn’t have a car the”

−The property had a very feisty smell as if it hadn’t been used for a while and on opening the toilet door there was a huge centipede 🐛 like creature.the property could do with updating very very tired.

+House is Very Nice and Specious
−A steep hill to get to the house . is ok if you have a car but not so good if you plan to use public transport

“Superb”
+The house size is generous and well equiped. we used the video projector for a movie night. Not too far to walk into town.
