“Perfect Stay in Wicklow”
+This was a very comfortable apartment for touring the Wicklow Mountains and its surrounds. The apartment is spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bedding and two spacious bathrooms. Adrian was a very kind and friendly host. A supermarket across the road is very convenient for self catering. Highly recommended accommodation.

+It’s a self catering property, very clean and spacious , there are stairs up to the apartment not suitable for anyone that might have difficulty with steps. There’s a supermarket on your doorstep a little pub directly underneath the apartment , there’s also another bar at the end of the street that do great pub grub and a little cafe across the road . It’s a very small town most locals go into Carlow for shopping I believe . Its a friendly little town and it suited us fine as we were visiting friends.

+Die Unterkunft ist sehr groß und hat eine wirklich besondere Lage direkt über einem Pub, mit eigenem privaten Eingang. Die Aufteilung mit zwei Schlafzimmern, davon eines mit eigenem Bad, sowie einem weiteren Badezimmer ist gerade für Familien sehr praktisch. Lucille und Adrian sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und sehr bemüht. Sie haben sich bei Problemen sofort gekümmert und waren jederzeit erreichbar. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir, dass sie uns abends im Pub noch auf ein Getränk eingeladen haben.
−Leider gab es bei unserer Ankunft ein größeres Problem, da die Heizung nicht funktionierte. Trotz mehrerer Versuche konnte dies während unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben werden. Uns wurde zwar ein elektrischer Heizkörper zur Verfügung gestellt und auch ein Wechsel der Unterkunft angeboten, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen, jedoch war ein spontaner Umzug mit zwei Kindern am Osterwochenende für uns kaum umsetzbar. Zudem war der Reinigungs- und Instandhaltungszustand der Wohnung leider nicht zufriedenstellend. In der Spülmaschine befand sich noch schmutziges Geschirr von vorherigen Gästen und der Mülleimer im Badezimmer war nicht geleert. Außerdem gab es einige Mängel, wie einen defekten Kaltwasserhahn, einen losen Klopapierhalter, eine Lampe im Flur, die halb von der Decke hing, sowie einen größeren Schimmelfleck im Wohnzimmer. Hier besteht aus unserer Sicht deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf.

“Very good choice and cheap!”
+It's spacious, very clean, fully equipped, and located in the town center close to all amenities. A small and charming town.
−The only downside is that you can barely hear the pub downstairs, but it's not a big problem.
