”Old world hotel, a little rough around the edges but with a heart of gold.”
+For the price, this is not a bad choice at all. The room (twin double) was very comfortable, with all the facilities you need. The carpet is a little threadworn, some rooms can be quite noisy apparently but ours was silent due to facing the back, the location is right in Old Cairo and convenient for many nearby attractions. If you like luxury and everything new then this is not for you. The cafe serves a good simple breakfast and there is a small balcony looking over the street you can eat at. The staff are very friendly and organised a driver for us for half a day to take us to Saqqara which was great.
−There’s no denying it, there is ALOT of building work in progress , the stairs are not to be used, but the lift works perfectly so it’s not the end of the world.

+Pleasant stay at Cairo inn . The location was one of the highlights for me , it was convenient for getting around the downtown , Tahrir square and visiting the main attractions. Many thanks to the team at the restaurant .
−The only minor is that hotel under renovation, some construction activity , but I believe it will make hotel better .

+The location is great and surrounded by shops, cafés and restaurants The staff were friendly and liked the breakfast that had many items but was the same everyday
−As the place was in the city centre at night is difficult to sleep because of the noise and the hotel was umder construction so workers all over the place and the access to balcony was obstructed as there were works carried out at this time hopefully this ends soon
