”Adequate for overnight lodging.”
+The location was good for easy in and fast exit for brief overnight stay on road trip. Free Parking garage was great as our car was loaded with personal belongings.
−Building and rooms are due for a refresh. While things appeared clean, the carpets, drapes, small tv, and other amenities were very underwhelming. The pillows were exceptionally lumpy and uncomfortable.

”It was fine in a good location.”
+Booking in by good staff. Nice room.
−Got a parking place but really afraid of almost having to use underground. Looking forward to view but got a small window looking at parking lot.

”Adequate as a central base but no frills.”
+It was close to the centre of Banff so easy to walk into town. I understand that a restaurant was available around the corner in a much better branch of the hotel, but did not try this.
−The hotel was outdated, dark, rather shabby like an old motel. The staff were insufficiently trained. The nearby construction work they did mention in advance, turned out to be a very large building immediately in front of the hotel.

+Comfortable bed. Underground parking. Short walk to the town centre.
−It's tricky to get the shower temperature just right. Some fixtures & fittings are dated but do what they need to.

”Budget friendly, clean riverside hotel”
+The front desk staff + house keeping team were lovely and very helpful. The room was very clean and the view out to the river from my balcony was gorgeous. Comfy and although the decor is dated, I didn't notice. The pool next door was an added bonus. A 3 min walk into town or immediately out along the river path to the park - so serene!
−The room is supplied with a coffee pot but I'd have loved a kettle in the room for making tea rather than going down to the lobby for hot water each time.
