„Overall a very pleasant stay“
+The hotel had lots of character. We loved the indoor pool. Room was a decent size. Breakfast was excellent! Staff were excellent, particularly reception staff!
−The bed wasn't comfy. I didn't sleep very well. We ate at the restaurant for dinner but it wasn't the best food we've had. As there was a storm we were glad that there was a restaurant onsite at least. Bathroom could do with an update.

„We always love staying at this hotel and usually eat out due to the weather we decided to eat in what a big mistake that“
+The pool for the grandchildren the breakfast is also spot on this is our fifth time staying at the Windermere manor.
−We booked to eat in on Sunday evening my 15 year old grandson could have put better food on the plate. We were advised beforehand by other guests not to bother with the roast dinner for the price it was dreadful we chose an alternative to the Sunday roast and the food was disgusting for the price paid. Had to send it back I reported my disappointment when checking out. I was advised the menu was being changed it’s not about the menu it’s about who’s cooking it. However, the breakfast is great. If it wasn’t for the pool we would consider alternative accommodation.

„It was a comfortable hotel, unfortunately the weather meant we couldn't use the outdoor space.“
+Breakfast was fine but sometimes had to wait for food to be ready. Good number of vegetarian options.
−Swimming pool always looked busy so didn't try to use. We had evening meals at the hotel and it wasn't made clear when we booked that we would need to register a credit card with reception first. We did this on the first evening but it seemed to be an issue on the second evening too. Double room was a bit small.

„Overpriced and disappointing“
+The pool was lovely and warm.
−Room we were put into first wasn't what I had paid for. We complained and we're moved to their "best room" in the cottage. Room wasn't clean, dirty cups in the kitchenette. Dodgy wiring for the light in the kitchenette. Bathroom had dirty products e.g. the bottles in the shower were covered in hard drip marks from a while ago. There was black mould growing in the shower. We were given towels with massive holes in. Also we put the do not disturb sign up on our door and went out for the day. Came back and the cleaners had ignored it and been in our room anyway. This made me feel very uneasy for the rest of our stay. Also I paid extra for a king size bed and the large bed in the second room was just two small mattresses pushed together. Horrible lip in middle of bed, not good for cuddling. Crap stay, would not recommend.

+The room was large and clean.
−The hotel is quite dated, a very chlorinated pool, only 1 changing room, I would say it was overpriced for what we got
