+This is a proper hotel, conveniently located on a hill between manali and old manali near hadimba temple. Room is extremely spacious with a sofa and another sitting area. Nice view of the surroundings. Good choice of food, swimming pool, bequtiful garden and a lounge. We alao used the laundery service. Altough it was summer, we accepted the managers offer to light a fire in our in room fireplace which was another nice touch to this perfect stay.
−The downside of being located on a hill away from the hsustling center is that you need to climb a little by foot (or by Riksha)

„Great experience! Great food! Great rooms! Great service!“
+Manali as a place was extremely dirty, polluted, crowded. We went for a family holiday and The Himalyan came to our rescue. As a family with kids, it was almost impossible to venture out due to traffic/crowd. We spend almost the entire 4 days within the property. Luckily food, service, rooms, view, etc. was great!
−Loved everything about the hotel.
