„Calm, relaxing, comfortable & warm.“
+Beautiful place to stay in a stunning setting. The breakfast and dinner services were amazing. The baths were beautiful and the staff were so helpful and accommodating.
−The location is beautiful, but remote, so be sure to plan accordingly.

+Great first experience in ryokan. Onsen was great, and rooms were comfortable. Meal option were worth it, making experience interesting. Staff were wonderful.

„Beautiful, Private place to relax on the water“
+Everything! It was a beautiful waterfront property.. The Onsen was lovely, the food was superb. And, the staff really went above & beyond.to make everything special for us. Also, we were on our bikes, which they helped us load up in the morning, & provided a breakfast to go.
−This seems typical in many hotels we've stayed at in Japan...no where to hang our towels.

„One of the best places in Japan to stay“
+One of the best hotels in the world, and a very unique experience in Japan. We went for my mom's birthday and it was one of the most special celebrations, we'll remember it forever. Thank you to the staff for also arranging flowers and a cake for my mom

„Decadent ryokan stay well worth the price tag - save your appetite for the meals, they are stunning and spectacular!“
+Gorgeous setting, a perfect stopover during Shimanami Kaido cycling. The views from the dining windows were beautiful, and the natural stone features and property aesthetic were amazing. Dinner was a full 8 course meal in a private room, as good as any of the best ryokan I’ve enjoyed, so be sure to be hungry! Breakfast was similarly over the top. Of course the onsen baths were fantastic as well

+Sennenmatsu was a unique and memorable stop along the Shimanami Kaido! It offered a fun and authentic cultural experience beyond just a place to sleep. The private fish dish was delicious and gave us a chance to experience a local tradition firsthand. Combined with the warm hospitality and traditional atmosphere, it made for a highlight of our journey:D
