„It was an ideal and safe place to stay as a solo female traveler.“
+The location is great. Easy to get to many places from there, short taxi or Yango rides to Almadies or Plateau. It’s situated in a residential area, it’s really calm and quiet. There are some local shops close by and the shopping centre Sea Plaza is only a 5 min drive. It’s close by to some private swimming pools and beaches. I will definitely come back to stay there when visiting Dakar again. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Shoutout to the receptionist, he helped me out to find out local shops and helped me with other things I needed. I felt safe and respected during my stay. I was travelling solo as a female and did not feel uncomfortable at any time.
−The front door should be automatically locked. Clients should be able to leave the place and the door will close automatically instead of having to wait for the reception to unlock it. It’s also safer this way on an emergency, e.g., if a fire breaks, clients should be able to leave the building without having to wait for the staff to unlock the door.
