+The location is the only saving grace for this hotel
−From leaking ceiling AC units to noisy rooms and 10's of staff standing around doing nothing added to tasteless food (IN AFRICA!!) And a general run down feel... there was not much left to not like. Disappointed with the quality of the hotel chargimg.the rates we paid

„Small paradise in a dirty city“
+Beautiful and luxurious hotel. We were welcomed very well, with all necessary info and welcome drink. Dakar is a rather dangerous and dirty city but arriving at this hotel made it all better. Friendly and competent staff, delicious cocktails and very good breakfast and meals. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and beach bar/restaurant.
−Tip for hotel: own taxi service. We needed a taxi for an important appointment, but the driver took us to the complete opposite side of the city. He refused to listen and was extremely rude. This is true of most taxi drivers in this city. Therefore, having its own taxi service would not be a bad idea for a hotel of this stature.
