„Lost in Time“
+Stayed for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. The only reason for the 2 stars is down to the staff who were excellent at every stage. Without the staff the score would be a zero. The hotel is shabby and very out dated. Poor amenities in the room with lacklustre heating. No glass to drink from in the bathroom, awful tissue dispenser instead of toilet roll. Just small things but just cheapened the experience, stayed in better equipped Ed hostels to be honest. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like wet sand bags so not a good sleep unfortunately. The decoration is straight out of the 80’s and really needs dragging into the current decade. The location is great though. Right at the start of town so plenty of scope for exploring the town. Saturday nights can be fruity with a pub next door. Had great fun at 1am watching and listening to the street fights and arguments outside my window. Such a shame but they practically have the monopoly on beds in Bude and seem to use this to keep it cheap and sell higher than it’s worth.

„Relax“
+Had a lovely weekend with family , the location is perfect only a few minutes walk to most of the beaches central to town. The room was very clean , had coffee, tea , hairdryer. Most rooms have a view of the canal . The breakfast we could not fault lots of choice , the staff were polite and friendly, especially the chef we had at breakfast Tony , what a lovely polite gent 😁

„Time away with friends.“
+Lovely staff and brilliant location. Parking isn't to much of an issue with 2 car parks fairly close by. Breakfast selection was very good. Summerleaze beach with the wonderful sea pool, is a 2 minute walk away!
