„It’s a good place to stay if you’d like beach access, good food nearby but don’t plan to move around much to see other p“
+Very friendly and resourceful staff who went over and above to make our stay enjoyable.
−The mattresses used on the beds were quite uncomfortable and not what you’d expected for a place at that price range.

„A perfect place to enjoy the eastern part of the island.“
+A perfect place to enjoy the eastern part of the island. The view from the apartment on the second floor was just amazing. The staff is a gem, always there to help with whatever you need. Everything is fresh and clean. Delicious fruit upon arrival and coconuts cut especially for us from the palm in front of our room. The kitchen was very convenient, so do not hesitate to ask to help you with groceries. Great prices and we could even pay in euros at the official rate. Highly recommended!
−It was a bit noisy sometimes in the 2nd bedroom, because of the football field nearby and calls to prayer. Another thing is that you should take your shower quite fast because the hot water is not neverending. But those are something we got used to quickly.

„Nice but no beach access“
+I was surprised when we arrived, I didn't realise the property was not on the beach and that it did not have a restaurant or beach access - this bothered me. The way to the beach was through another property. However, the apartment is comfortable. Ours was facing the beach which was quite nice, the bedrooms were very comfortable - the balcony overlooking the water was very nice to hang on and I can't say that I have any complaints. I liked the aesthetics of the apartment, simple, yet functional.
−I think it should be more obviously stated on the website that there is no restaurant. We ate at Upendo and the Rock which worked fine but I would have liked to have known this. Do bring cash, for airport transfers, the payment needed to be in cash only.

„Wunderschöne, ruhige Appartements in paradiesischem Garten“

+We were very happy , very good location , calm beach ( no beach boys which can ruined your relax), the appartment was top notch and clean. Also personel was very friendly and helpful. You will also find one of the best food in neighbour restaurant - "Wishing Tree" and perhaps their best octopus served in whole Zanzibar (coocking by Italians). If You looking accommodation in this area I can tell You that You found the right place here.... Special thanks and greetings come to Elena , amazing woman !

„Really relaxing time in stunning surroundings.“
+We had a perfect few days at Pingwe apartments. Elena was so helpful before we arrived with really helpful information when we needed it and whilst we were there. The complex is so peaceful and feels brand new. The gardens, pool and apartments are so clean and perfectly maintained. Staff were all brilliant and the apartments were meticulously cleaned every day. The Wishing Tree, less than 2 minutes away, was the perfect restaurant for meals and drinks through the day. Pingwe beach is really beautiful but quiet compared to some of the others further south. Overall, a perfect 3 night for our party of 11. Thank you Elena and your staff.
−Not a problem but there is no longer direct access to the beach. But the wishing tree is right on the beach 😁
