„Functional, well situated hotel“
+Location, beds, showers
−Cocktails overpriced and poorly made, not made aware of dog charge at time of booking. £25 extra for one night is ridiculous Sound proofing between rooms was bad. One of two lifts not working so took a while to get to room. Lighting in rooms is terrible Rooms/hotel too hot!

„Definitely room for improvement.“
+The location and friendly staff
−Generally it felt tired and in need of a makeover. The restaurant felt cold and draughty. Although there was a bar adjacent to the restaurant we were asked to go to the basement bar for pre-dinner drinks. We had a suite. In it we had a bath adjacent to our bed - to be honest a sofa would have been more practical. Our shower room was extremely compact.

+Location was great
−Due to the high winds, the noise from the windows throughout the night was horrendous whistling and rattling all night
