+A perfectly decent hotel; good value for money. Location is near the city center, 10 min by tram, the tram station is near the hotel.
−I arrived at the hotel before the official check-in time, paid for my room, added two breakfasts (my original booking did not include them), left my suitcase in the luggage storage, and went out to explore the city. When I returned to the hotel that evening, a complication arose: I hadn’t been asked for any identification when I paid for the room, and consequently, there was no record in the system indicating that I had paid for my stay. Fortunately, I had my payment receipt, so I was checked in quite quickly. However, the next morning, when I went for breakfast, I was told that breakfast wasn’t linked to my room. I had to go to the front desk to sort it out; the issue was resolved promptly, but the same thing happened again the following morning. While this didn’t cause any major inconvenience or ruin my trip, the staff should be more attentive to avoid such situations in the future.
