+Room is spacious and clean. Location is quiet at night and there is 7-eleven nearby. Breakfast taste good with nice coffee. Every staff that I have interacted with are very friendly and welcoming. Good vibe.
−Facilities are dated. One of the window lock is not properly screwed in. Floor is creaky. Lift is not working when I was staying there.

+Great shower, excellent big bed, quiet. Better breakfast than some others in Malaysia. Excellent real coffee shop within the hotel for European style expresso drinks.
−Hotel De Leon is -numbered 1 and 2, which is very cinfusing, since they seem to be attached? Made it hard to order a GRAB.

„Satisfied!“
+Located in the heart of Lahad Datu town, this hotel is a great choice whether you’re traveling for leisure or business. It’s conveniently close to restaurants, grocery stores, and a mosque, making everything easily accessible. The hotel also offers a pleasant sea view just across the street. The staff are well-prepared, attentive, and provide excellent service throughout the stay. A breakfast package is included, featuring comforting and tasty options suitable for all ages. Definitely a place I’d return to again.
−Cleanliness of the furniture in the room could be improved
