„Lack Luster“
+Location was the only benefit.
−We had to wait at the front desk for over 15 minutes in order to check in as no one was present. Ended up finding a housekeeper who was able to track down the manager at the front desk. The manager then said that they were short staffed and seemed really put out and just huff and puffed through the whole check-in process. Also, the bathroom was really dated. The room was not as clean as I would’ve liked to see the TV was really confusing to try to figure out how to change channel so we just had to watch the same channel all night.

„Perfect.“
+We had a large group of rooms and guest from different states for a wedding near by. We were able to visit and hang out in the comfort of the lobby/breakfast area.
−The pool was very cold !!!

+Breakfast was delicious.
−We booked and paid for 2 queen size beds. When checking in we were told they only had 1 king size bed. I would like compensation for this

„Wonderful, relaxing stay“
+I was so happy from the moment that I walked into the lobby! Our car air conditioning decided to quit just before leaving for the hotel so we drove for 2 hours with no a/c and the weather was the typical Michigan muggy 90's weather. So walking into the lobby and our room was heaven. I had booked a few weeks previous to our stay and made a mistake on the date. Luckily, the front desk clerk was able to cancel the other reservation with no penalty. We came to the area a month previously and stayed at a different establishment. We couldn't travel the day that I had booked for that time and they wouldn't give us a refund. So I wouldn't use the same app again. The previous establishment in the area was horrible. When we walked into the lobby it didn't feel like they had air conditioning on in June with weather temperatures in the high 80's. The elevator was non existent and we were on the 2nd floor. I was happy to pay a bit more for much better, cleaner, already turned on air conditioning in our room at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast was great. I really wanted to use the pool but we just ran out of time. Thank you for an enjoyable, relaxing stay! The front desk staff was also wonderful a
−Only that I didn't have enough time to use the pool.

„Very dirty“
+Horrific cleanliness, multiple blood stains on beds and towels; along with what appeared to be snot. Only reason this place gets 2 stars is because of the wonderful staff. They’re super nice and helpful. Breakfast was good too.
