„Gorgeous Views ,comfortable Room, excellent food“
+Beautiful views, nice room ,comfortable bed , staff and service are excellent. Food was excellent I ordered dinner an hour before and they let me know when it’s ready and you can have it the dining room with the beautiful view or in the room. It’s cook fresh and breakfast was superb too.
−For me I found it great but bear in mind as cars and van cannot access off the main road. They will sent a tuk tuk so if it’s large groups or large luggage. Also steep flights of stairs to the hotel. Other

„Sublime“
+This is a hidden gem in Ella that I would recommend to anybody travelling to the area. It is close and accessible to Ella town, but it is not located IN the town, so you are far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle, but close enough to access all the amenities. Which we thought was perfect. The views from this hotel are sublime. Possibly the best views we have come across in Sri Lanka so far. It’s also tranquil, peaceful and beautiful. One of the highlights is the staff. The manager Pirayantha was incredible. He doted on us and made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He even went to get beer for us!! The younger member of staff Jana was so attentive and helpful, he went above and beyond and always had the biggest smile on his face! We had a special soft spot for him! If you want to stay somewhere incredibly beautiful, with amazing attentive staff, and wonderful views then Ella Hide View is for you!

„Stunning views and great people!“
+This place is just as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures! Everything was up to date and well designed, the food was great and the people were both kind and helpful. The view is stunning but the location is also great for all other things, we stayed in the area for dinner up the street one night, and went into town for another. We would not hesitate to come back!
−Nothing, all good things!

+Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Room was really nice with an amazing view, and the view is also great from the common area. Breakfast was excellent and portions large. About 10 min walk to the centre

+The view is fantastic. Have not had such a good sleep for weeks. The soothing sound of the waterfall puts you to sleep immediately. The breakfast was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff!
−Renovation noise after breakfast, however if you check- out or go on a hike it should not bother you.

„The best view in Ella with exceptional service and breakfast“
+10/10 everything. Best view in Ella, exceptional service from the guys who make you feel at home from minute 1. Great start point for the Ella Rock hike and amazing views around the mountains and town. LKr600 tuk tuk to town or you can walk down the train tracks. They are also in the process of adding new and improved rooms and restaurant to the hotel which will make it even better. They also upgraded us to a new room as it was low season. Would recommend to couples or people looking for a relaxed time away from the busy town
−Nothing! Building works start early but they’ll be done soon
