„lovely stay while on our health and safety course“
+Was very happy with the stay, reception staff and restaurant staff very friendly, loved the warm cookies, the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels etc, would definitely stay here again
−we had dark cherry tart from the restaurant which in fact was Blueberries, the chef was adamant they were cherry's, was investigated and they have not had any cherry's, wanted to make staff aware in case someone had an allergy, as we was on a health and safety course,

„Unprofessional manager escalated an easy fix, and we had to leave because 'no housekeeping on duty'.“
+I have stayed at this hotel many times, for business and leisure, and the staff have always been friendly, professional and helpful, which is why this experience was so out of character.
−I booked the Deluxe Queen Room for myself and my 14-year-old son. The room is listed for up to 4 adults, and the photos show a double bed and a sofa bed already made up. At 11pm the sofa bed wasn't made up. The front-of-house manager repeatedly told me I had only booked a double, which was untrue, then made me prove the booking on my laptop in the lobby. I was told I had to request the bed made up, and when I asked if anything could be done, I was told housekeeping wasn't working and that only Booking.com could refund me. I then said we would have to leave and asked for a refund. Only after that did the trainee, Nikolay, suggest he could make the bed up. No one had offered that, or another room, before. Our time there was far from relaxing. We found a room nearby at nearly midnight, where the bed was made up with no housekeeping on shift. I have stayed in this same room type before and the sofa bed was already made up.
