„Great value and a very helpful hostess“
+Overall, we were satisfied -- this was a good value for the price and served our needs well. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, but just a short taxi ride from the center or the cable car. Sra. Tulia was a very kind and thoughtful host; she showed us around the neighborhood when we arrived, taking us to nearby shops and restaurants. The washing machine was very convenient. There are two friendly dogs that live in the house below, which our kids enjoyed playing with. The place is decorated in a unique and fun way.
−The unit was not completely clean when we arrived: there was some very old (spoiled) food left in the refrigerator, and the bathroom was a bit dirty. There are no doors on the bedrooms. Other than that, there were a few small issues: there was no key to lock the door to the space we stayed in; however, since the front door to the street is locked, we weren't really worried and we didn't have any issues. The mattresses are old and, in my opinion, not very comfortable. We stayed in the top-level unit, and to get there you need to climb a lot of rather narrow stairs. The host did not tell us until the moment we were leaving that she required us to pay in cash. If we had known sooner, we could have easily gotten the cash when we were out. Instead, we had to delay our departure and make a trip to the bank at the last minute.

„Beautiful family home“
+Beautiful family home, nice and safe feeling location, helpful advice given, lovely facilities including veranda to sit on and filtered drinking water available.
−Little hard to find in dark but there is a sign above gate, slightly creaky floorboards so was worried I might've disturbed other guests with early start

„Great and welcoming family as hosts and lovely house“
+Diego, Tulia and their daughter were extremely friendly, welcoming and caring hosts. They live as well in the stylishly furnished house and share their home with other travelers, so it’s a very personal place, but you still have your privacy. I stayed only two nights and everything was great. The room was very clean, bathroom renovated and clean, hot water, fresh towels, everything you need. Around the house there are enough options for dinner (try the sushi bar;) and a supermarket. It’s a safe district, but you need to take metro or Uber to reach the historical center for example. All in all I would recommend Casa de Tulia and I would have stayed longer or would return there! Thank you, Diego & Tulia:)
−Just a small thing to be mentioned: - the walls are thin, so if someone for example is watching TV in the next room you could maybe need earplugs in order to sleep (with them it was totally ok)

„Exceptional“
+The property is well distributed, very cozy, and comfortable. The young lady who greeted me was friendly and pleasant. The room was perfect I especially liked the warm blankets. Tulia is an excellent person very willing to help with future accommodation. She is certainly an over achiever trying to go above and beyond to help out as best as possible.
