+This lovely studio sits on the Laguna at Bacalar. The beds are comfortable and the air-conditioning works well. It is tranquil and secure. There is nothing within walking distance, but there is a full size kitchen if you want to fix your own meals or the town is a five minute drive away.

+This cabana has great AC and that’s it. Your left alone on the property there is no one to answer questions and when I asked for an extra sheet and blanket there were none. The pillows are lumpy and flat. The mosquitos swarm you the minute you exit the car. There is only blinds on the front of the windows and not the back. There is no soap in the bathroom or light in the shower the kitchen is NOT fully functional the oven doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money here. There are other places cleaner and less money
