„A charming country house hotel with beautiful decor, lovely facilities and a welcoming atmosphere.“
+Berida Hotel is a beautiful country house, tastefully decorated in a style that suits the property perfectly. The approach is welcoming, and the hotel has lovely facilities, including a good gym and a pool and darts room. Aspinalls Bar & Lounge was a delightful place for a pre-dinner drink, and the cocktails were excellent. Overall, the hotel has a lovely atmosphere and plenty of charm.
−We booked a Petite Room, which was very petite indeed, with virtually no space to put a suitcase or hang or store clothes. The bathroom was also very snug. Our room overlooked the rear car park, and the window opened onto an external staircase, so the outlook was disappointing. We also felt the bar and restaurant closing times were a little early. Aspinalls Bar & Lounge closes at 9 pm and Bistro Sociale at 10 pm, meaning that after returning from an evening out, we only had time for a quick drink before last orders. It would have been lovely to be able to relax and linger over a drink in the hotel’s inviting surroundings a little longer.
