„Great stay while we visited the Bristlecone Forest, and we could open the windows and not use the HVAC!”
+Location and staff, ease of check-in.
−We liked the old-school motor inn vibe, others want more modern accommodations

„It was okay in a pinch”
+It was hard to get a hotel in the area, so I’m glad it was available, although expensive for what it is. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The woman at the front was nice.
−The smell from some cleaner, I assume, was overwhelming. The hotel is a little rundown. There was not even a continental breakfast. We were awoken in the night from a couple screaming at each other, which I won’t blame on the hotel.

„This small older motel is extremely well maintained and should be what all older roadside motels should aspire to.”
+Very nicely updated since our last stay here. Lots of toiletry amenities in the bathroom including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a comb! This is unheard of even in 5 star hotels. You get a bottle of water and a small basket that included fruit and cookies upon arrival. They have added a large deck with outdoor lighting which makes a nice place to chill. Proprietor was extremely friendly. Highly recommend.
−The ice maker is a countertop one and another person took it all when they left in the morning.

+Nice owner
−The toilet was squeezed between the wall and the sink with hardly any room to sit down. The AC kept cycling off throughout the night getting too warm to sleep. Table lamp between the beds was obnoxious bright white light.

„I was hoping for something better. We paid roughly the same price for Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, etc.”
+Friendly staff. Quiet room
−The metal frame on the bed made noise every time you moved or got into the bed There was no bathroom exhaust fan Bathroom was exceptionally small and even for an average build person like me, you had to maneuver carefully to get into the bathroom and close the door without bumping into things
