«False advertising»
−This is NOT a hotel, so don't book it if that's what you're looking for. We came here for our honeymoon, paid for a room with a view and came to find it covered in scaffolding. We had planned on using our patio as part of our photoshoot, and had to cancel that. The staff flat out told me they didn't know about the scaffolding, then proceeded to tell me it had been up since March. So why wouldn't the property contact their guests to let them know the view they're paying for would be under construction?? I booked this back in February and would've had more time to find a different property that offered a view that wasn't obstructed. They're also advertising a suit press, which is the other reason I booked and they don't offer that either. The shower didn't drain, and we were standing ankle deep in water. We booked a different place and moved. The property is refusing a refund even though their listing is misleading and incorrect. It's clear this place does not care about customer service at all. There are WAY better properties in Florence, I highly suggest you look elsewhere.

«Amazing location, clean and modern room»
+Amazing location - right beside the Piazza del Duomo and a block from Piazza della Repubblica - abut a 10 minute walk to most of the sites of the city. Otherwise a modern, clean, well appointed space. It's on the fourth floor, but there's an elevator.
−No breakfast, but we knew that going in, and there are lots of cafes nearby. Not really any other downsides

−If you plan on arriving early and leave your bags to venture out, think twice - it's not a hotel. No one is available until after 2pm and we had to pay to leave our bags (after I asked someone where) until we're able to check in. If this works for you, great. The rooms could use an upgrade, especially the bathroom. My room certainly did not look like any of those photos. You can barely move in the shower and water spills out (think of an RV plastic shower). The elevator is typical of those in Europe where two people barely fit and must be able to close all doors or you won't go (hope you have small bags). Think of an old one where you close iron gates...that's the elevator situation. It's either that or stairs to the 4th flr. The person we checked in with was very friendly. It was very hot but there's an AC unit, thankfully. Just giving an honest, informative review of our stay for the cost to anyone considering this as their overnight stay. Overall just ok. I prob will not book again.
