+Check-in was easy, but i have very obvious disability and mobility issues, but we were given a room at the furthest end of the property. I would have thought, when meeting me, that maybe these issues would have promped them to offer a more conveniently placed room. The stairs were very difficult for me to manage. Although the room was really nice, with a beautiful, large bathromm, i would have expected a fridge as standard and maybe a small table to use when sirting on the sofa. I had to put my drinks on the windowsill which appeared freshly painted, as my cup stuck slightly to the paint, which is a shame. The evening meal was fine and the young barman/waiter couldn't do enough to make me comfortable, as i had a very painful hip. Buffet breakfast was quite good and the chef was very helpful in guiding me through the options and carrying my plate for me as i have a severe visual impairment. We wre staying there on out wedding anniversary as we married at Stirk House 15 years ago and all-in-all, we did enjoy our stay, apart from the issues I've mentioned.

‘Don’t Hesitate- it’s amazing!’
+The Stirk House is an absolutely beauty. It’s located in a picturesque setting surrounded by fields and sheep. If you want a low key, peaceful country setting with an amazing staff and restaurant, you found it! We loved staying here and definitely plan to come back. Lots of room to roam, walking paths and countryside roads to explore. Also, plenty of free parking was very nice. 10 / 10
