+An Exceptional Employee Who Made Our Stay Truly Special - Zelle at Sabar Lounge We stayed at The St. Regis Doha for a week, and while the hotel itself is beautiful, one person in particular made our experience truly memorable: Zelle from the Sabar Lounge. Throughout our stay, she consistently went above and beyond what we would normally expect from hospitality staff. Every evening, she welcomed us with genuine warmth, a positive attitude, and an incredible level of attentiveness. What impressed us most was that her kindness never felt forced or simply part of her job. She was sincerely thoughtful, always attentive to our needs, and often surprised us with small gestures, such as bringing us nuts even when we had not ordered anything. These may seem like small details, but they make a real difference. Zelle made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for, and her kindness brought a personal touch to our evenings that we will remember long after our stay. In luxury hospitality, exceptional service is not just about beautiful surroundings or expensive facilities. It is about people who make guests feel special through their character, attitude, and genuine care. Zelle embodies exactly wh

‘Superlative hotel, amazing staff and beautiful food.’
+Sharon Reece Mon 5 Oct, 09:46 to me Dear St. Regis Doha Team I wanted to take a moment to share our sincere appreciation for the exceptional service we received throughout our stay at The St. Regis Doha from 17th to 27th September. From the moment we arrived, every aspect of our experience was outstanding. The level of service, attention to detail, and genuine care shown by your team made our stay truly memorable. We were looked after exceptionally well, and it was the warmth and attentiveness of your colleagues that made us feel so welcome. I would also like to mention that Mrs Reece celebrated her birthday during our stay, and the team went above and beyond to make it a truly special occasion for her. She was absolutely delighted, and the thoughtful touches and kindness shown to her made the day even more memorable. It was a wonderful example of the personal attention that makes a stay at The St. Regis so special. I would especially like to highlight the entire team at the Beach Bar, who were simply exceptional. Every member of the team was attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to ensuring that we had a wonderful experience. Their service was a real credit to the hotel. I

‘Extraordinary People Make The St. Regis Doha Truly Exceptional’
+The St. Regis Doha is a truly beautiful hotel, but what makes it exceptional is the extraordinary people who bring it to life. True hospitality is about kindness, dignity, genuine human connection and making people feel valued. This wonderful team embodies all of these qualities. Roula is an absolutely exceptional leader. Her warmth, emotional intelligence, compassion and genuine commitment to people are remarkable. She demonstrates that great leadership is not about hierarchy or authority, but about creating a culture where care, dignity and humanity come first. She is a tremendous asset to this hotel and deserves the highest recognition. Okesh and the entire butler service team are simply phenomenal! WOW! Their kindness, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and genuine dedication are extraordinary. Okesh is an absolute star, and the entire team consistently demonstrates hospitality that feels personal, authentic and deeply human. The beach is absolutely breathtaking, but the people make it even more special. Rencie, Sadam, Abdul and Alina are wonderful human beings whose warmth, attentiveness, kindness and positive energy create an unforgettable experience. The entire beach team d

‘Oh no, back at St Regis. We paid for poor service.’
+Oh no, back at St Regis. We paid for poor service That’s why it deserves a very poor rating everywhere
−Reception staff were very unprofessional. When we checked in, we were greeted by a lady who started the check-in process but then, after a few minutes, half-heartedly handed us over to a colleague. It looked as though it was a huge challenge simply to find us the two rooms we’d booked with separate beds, even though we hadn’t made any special requests. (e.g. on the same floor or next to each other...). After quite a long wait - more than 15 minutes - we were given two connecting rooms. We simply accepted them because, after a long flight, all we wanted to do was have a shower and go to sleep. The next day, I complained at reception that the rooms did not match our booking. We were given an upgrade to a suite; naturally, I was delighted and thanked them. The suite was simply a nightmare. It simply smelled awful; we hadn’t realised that would be the case (drainage, air conditioning...). The upgrade wasn’t compensation but an additional punishment. As we’d only booked five Nights in Doha to relax and had already spent two of them complaining and moving rooms, I stopped complaining altogether and tried to adapt to the situation. The low point came on the evening of our check-out. I wen

‘Parfait’
