‘A fantastic stay with a beautiful pool, and stunning views of Mount Etna,we would happily return.’
+We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Sicily. The highlight is definitely the beautiful garden with its stunning view of Mount Etna. The swimming pool is fantastic: it is modern, very clean, and because it is shared with only a maximum of two other apartments, it feels very private. During our entire stay, we actually had the pool all to ourselves. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. They are always happy to help and answer any questions. It was also very convenient that we could easily order wine, beer, and bottled water directly from them. Although the property is located a little outside the town, this was not a problem for us. There are plenty of restaurants that offer delivery, which was especially convenient as we were travelling with our 8-month-old daughter who goes to bed early in the evening. The apartment itself was new, very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable, including the baby cot. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely come back.
−We honestly have very little negative to say about our stay. If we had to suggest a few small improvements, we would recommend adding a cutting board to the kitchen, as that was the only item we missed while cooking. The shower was a little low for taller guests, although the owners are already aware of this and mentioned that they hope to improve it in the future. Finally, we would recommend having a car when staying here, as it makes getting around the area much easier.

+We had a wonderful stay at Le Decime! It truly felt like a peaceful retreat for the last part of our vacation in Sicily, offering incredibly silent and calm nights. The room was clean, The pool area was a lovely experience,it was very clean and enjoying the view of Mount Etna by the pool was just amazing. Fabio and Giulia are fantastic hosts; their hospitality was exceptional and we had lovely conversations with them during our stay. Since we were traveling by public transport, we needed transfers from the Mascali train station and later to the Catania airport, which they arranged for us at a reasonable price. Overall, we had a lovely stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
−The only minor detail is the last stretch of the road leading to the property. It is quite dark at night if you are walking, and the road is in a rough, bumpy condition that requires careful driving even if you are arriving by car. It would be great if that final part could be improved. Other than that, we had no problems.

+Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dell’appartamento e dell’atmosfera di questo posto. Mi è piaciuto moltissimo lo stile della casa, in particolare la cucina con la bellissima parete in pietra lavica. È stata una delle cose che ho apprezzato di più: un dettaglio autentico, pieno di carattere e perfettamente in armonia con questo luogo ai piedi dell’Etna. L’appartamento è arredato con personalità e attenzione ai dettagli. Alcuni elementi non sono nuovissimi, ma secondo me è proprio questo a dare alla casa il suo fascino e la sua atmosfera. Allo stesso tempo, tutto era molto pulito, ordinato e ben curato. Ho apprezzato particolarmente anche il bagno e soprattutto l’ottima illuminazione dello specchio. Può sembrare un piccolo dettaglio, ma per una donna è davvero importante e, purtroppo, non è affatto scontato trovarla negli appartamenti in vacanza. 😊 Naturalmente, uno dei grandi punti di forza è la piscina: bellissima e davvero piacevole, soprattutto dopo una giornata trascorsa a esplorare l’Etna e i dintorni. Molto comoda anche la possibilità di parcheggiare l’auto direttamente all’interno della proprietà, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato
−L’unico aspetto che non ci è piaciuto è la strada di accesso alla struttura. È molto stretta e, soprattutto, in condizioni davvero pessime: percorrerla in auto è estremamente scomodo e c’è il rischio concreto di danneggiare la macchina. Secondo me, questo è sicuramente il punto che necessita maggiormente di essere migliorato. Il proprietario ci ha però spiegato che la strada dovrebbe essere sistemata il prossimo anno, cosa che ci ha fatto molto piacere sapere. Una volta risolto questo problema, il soggiorno sarà davvero quasi perfetto..

‘Un sogno!’
+Abbiamo alloggiato alle Decime ad agosto 2026, due adulti e una bambina, in piena eruzione Etna che ci ha causato qualche disguido all'arrivo in aeroporto. Da subito Fabio e Georgia, i proprietari, seppure nel cuore della notte, ci hanno aiutato a risolvere tutti i problemi di trasporto avuti con la compagnia aerea...fantastici! Quando siamo arrivati in struttura ci siamo ritrovati in una posizione mozzafiato, davanti all' Etna in eruzione con i suoi colori magnifici, in un casale ristrutturato immerso nel silenzio della natura, con piscina da sogno, sfruttata tantissimo al rientro dal mare. La nostra camera, la numero 7, era spaziosa, luminosa, comoda, dotata di tutti i comfort e servizi descritti, dalla zona cucina, alla zona notte e bagno con ampia doccia. Fabio e Georgia, con passione e dedizione, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile, soddisfacendo prontamente ogni nostra richiesta. Dalla struttura si può raggiungere facilmente il mare di Fondachello e il centro di Mascali, sia a piedi, in 10 minuti o in auto in 2 minuti. A pochi minuti d'auto, si possono inoltre trovare supermercati e gastronomie eccellenti, ma chiedete pure ai proprietari che vi daranno tutte le ind

‘A very nice stay with very friendly hosts!’
+We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and perfectly located for exploring all the cities along the east coast. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
−The only thing that was a little challenging was the road leading to the accommodation. It was unpaved and quite bumpy, which was a bit difficult with our own private car. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time there!
