‘A lovely comfortable stay in a great location’
+We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Canal Hotel. It was easy to get to from the airport with the airport bus - the bus stop is only about a 5-minute walk away. The location was also really good and it was easy to walk into the city from there. A number of cafes and restaurants are also within walking distance. While we didn't eat at the hotel, we did buy coffee and some breakfast foods during our stay from the Canal Express - the coffee was excellent as was the food on offer. Our room was also very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. We also had no problem parking our hire car at the hotel's car park during our stay and the Euro10 for 24 hours parking was very reasonable. We would be happy to stay here again. Thank you.
−Nothing really. Our personal choice would have been to have a walk-in/step-in shower rather than a shower over the bath but the hotel provided non-slip bathmats in the bathroom to use which was appreciated.

‘Overall a great hotel, I would stay here again!’
+The employees were very helpful and friendly. The room had great amenities and was very clean.
−The half glass shower doors are not great. I don’t understand why so many hotels use these. They look great but water gets all over the floor and every surface in the bathroom after a shower is damp from the extra humidity. Then I have to dry all of my stuff off before I use it. It’s not just your hotel, every hotel I stayed at in Ireland except one had this design.
