+The property location was beautiful and remote. The rooms were lovely, clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was nice too but the shower curtain was a little moldy

+The property and the surrounding region are both beautiful and great for exploring. The hotel itself was incredible - the staff were friendly, the bed was very comfortable, the ammenities were new, and the hot tub was excellent!

‘paid for 2 nights, left after 1. Do not recommend’
+This hotel is in a beautiful location along the Golden Circle and close to the bigger town of Selfoss. The hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation and repair. Our room was tiny, with extremely old furniture, no bathroom space to even brush your teeth and a weird shower combination that left the entire bathroom floor wet. Just touching the greasy remote for the television was disgusting. We booked and paid for two nights and we were so unhappy that we left after the first night, losing our second night's payment. For the money, this hotel is well below the standards of any hotel we stayed in Iceland. The pictures on the website depict modern rooms with nice furniture, which was obviously nothing like our room. The breakfast was fine. The staff were not necessarily rude, but were definitely not friendly.

+Overall it was good. The remote for the tv did not work. There should really be a phone in the rook, in case for emergencies. This is a great place to stay if you want to stay outside of the city!
