+a beautiful building of old materials on lovely grounds with gardens and a swimming pool
+All show and no go. A fake palace. remnants of an old palace were attached here and there to make it look authentic, but it was clearly cinder block construction, built in 2000. Everything looked luxurious. A bathtub, but no hot water. A huge dining room with one tour group and a couple of other guests, yet there's a wait staff of 5 men hovering around our table being awkward, pretending to be a high end restaurant. It's depressing. The internet also was too weak to use and the staff at the front desk barely spoke english when we called down. For $70 a night not including breakfast, we at least expected to be able to take a bath or shower. the bed was great though, the room quiet and they brought a heater when we asked for it. very comfortable room.

‘Swinging beds from a 1001-nights tales’
+Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Close by some amazing Jain temples of the 16 century. Our bed was a swinging bed that made our stay even more special.
‘Wonderful hotel in a great location.’
+Located just next to the magnificent Jain temple in Ranakpur, the Fateh Bagh is a great choice. The hotel is an old havelli that has been removed from northern Rajasthan and moved to Ranakpur. The result is really quite nice and the hotel is very well organized. The food is great, the breakfast buffet is wonderful and the staff is attentive. We visited on an indian holiday and the pool was filled with a dozen Indian kids on holiday with their families. Noisy but festive on this occasion. The rooms are pleasant and modern and the gardens are lovely.
‘Very nice hospitality, worth staying..’
+All was very nice, staff members are very supportive, it is surrounded by beautiful hills and jungles.
‘Hotel close to Ranakpur temple’
+Did not like the experience at all, first of all the manager over booked the hotel. So the manager instead of being honest told us that he can upgrade our rooms to suits for Rs. 1000.00 per room, we did not show any interest , so he came down to Rs. 1000.00 for two rooms and than to Rs.500.00. We insisted not to upgrade . As he had no delux rooms left he had to give us one suit room for nothing. Food was not so good, so was breakfast. There was no complimentary water bottle in the rooms. There was even charge for water during dinner and breakfast ( not mineral water). The so called double bed was infect joined two single beds with two single mattresses , which was not comfortable at all. The TV was not working at all, they kept trying to fix it, which was annoying. It was not worth to stay for the charges
‘Historical building’
+Very charming hotel 4km away from Ranakpur temples. Nice service.
