‘Prima landelijk onderkomen als tussenstop’
+Het kleine dorpje Bampton is rustig en landelijk. Weinig prikkels maar dat is soms ook fijn. Was even moeilijk te vinden maar de ontvangst met thee en taart maakte alles goed. Prima bedden.
−Niets op aan te merken

‘Lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere in great location. Cosy and stylish with wine bar shop & deli.’
+Great location. Lovely friendly owner. Loved that he has a wine shop come deli downstairs! Tastefully decorated room bathroom and furnishings.
−No breakfast included. No kettle for hot drinks in the room, had to walk along corridor for shared coffee station. The mattress was too hard and thought it could do with a topper for more comfort.

‘Very comfortable stay’
+Nice bathroom hair toiletries. Comfy bed. Free parking (voluntary 50p fee) nearby and you can cut through the church yard beside the Swan Pub. Good to have a hairdryer supplied. Nice and private. Lunch in the Cork and Cru on site was delicious.
−The info booklet wasn't up to date i.e. The Swan Pub wasn't serving food when we were there. Script restaurant was closed. Communal tea coffee etc (I think this was just a blip) There was no info on how to pay for the honesty items. There was no sugar, spoons or unused coffee pods, only 4 used ones. Like the concept of the access to yes and coffee, but would prefer in room facilities.

−It goes as 5 star hotel in booking.com but was no where near it. We didn't see any staff. everything was completely self service

‘A rip off’
+The bed was comfortable and the bathroom bijou but good.
−TV would not work - still not by second night. No milk and sugar available first night and morning, despite the information that it was free and unlimited. There was a jar of branded coffee available with no spoon, a tiny coffee machine with 2 pods. The second night one spoon with tiny jug of cream in wine fridge below appeared.

‘Lovely place to stay. The village is very nice. Goid selection of pubs etc. Good location to explore the surrounding are’
+Great location. Lovely room. Large bathroom.
−All good although we were lucky to park outside. Might be a little bit more of a walk to your car if you had to park in the public car park.

‘Great location, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms.’
+Great location, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms. We especially appreciated the upgrades to a larger room, given that we were on a long trip with lots of luggage.
−Disappointed that the shared facilities like kitchen, lounge, laundry etc. that we've used on previous stays are no longer available, but still a lovely place for a short stay if travelling without too much luggage.
