‘A fantastic stay in a wonderful hotel’
+The receptionist (I think her name was Elaine) was extremely polite, professional and helpful. The room was lovely and clean and had lots of extras including a weighing scale. It was opposite the train station so was a convenient location for us. A wonderful hotel!

+Modern room, great location
−Not enough towels provided initially (2 instead of 3 sets albeit we booked for 3 people). No mats in the gym and music could not be turned off

‘Poor staff service and attitude. Hope they fix this. Otherwise Location and room are nice’
+The room is well decorated and location is excellent
−The receptionists made the experience quite unpleasant. We interacted with 3 receptionists during our stay and all of them were unfriendly and dismissive. Made me really wonder how the hotel trained them. The female staff at check-in was rude. We have a booking via Booking.com and noted early arrival. We got a reply from the hotel that they noted on our request but cannot guarantee as it would be subject to availability. Sure we understand. We arrived in the morning and the receptionist said the room is not available yet and once it’s available it will be “10 euro” per hour until normal check-in time. I said I understood the room wasn’t ready but I was never informed of this fee otherwise I would have booked other hotel. She asked where I booked and said ahhh you should have booked directly with the hotel so all info is provided then just shrugged. I said but the hotel staff corresponded to me and showed her the message. She just made some faces, said nothing she could do, and that it’s still early. She did these while doing some paperwork and barely making eyes contact, instead of properly attending to her guest. She didn’t seem to understand that I didn’t complain that the room i
