“You get what you pay for, but bugs??”
+1) Although there were bugs in the room, the room itself was clean. The surfaces had obviously been wiped down thoroughly and the towels and bed linens were spotless white. 2) There was free parking. I wasn't sure if there would be because there were discrepancies between what the property pictures show (yes), what their Web site said (yes), what the Booking.com confirmation said (no), and what an employee responded through messaging (no), but when we got there sure enough there was no problem. We did not even have to fill out a form with our car details so it didn't get towed. 3) The room had no overhead light but had 3 lamps that provided warm, comforting lighting. There was a microwave, mini fridge, and TV. 4) When I forgot my coat in the armoire after checking out, it took a few phone calls but I was able to get it back when I drove through the next day. 5) It's right off the highway. Very convenient when just passing on through.
−1) The whole building (lobby and hallway) smelled like cigarette smoke. I had a non-smoking room and thankfully that scent was barely noticeable in my room itself. 2) There were several insects in the room. There were multiple each of a bigger type of winged bug and also a tiny, crawling bug. They didn't appear to be bedbugs but of course their presence made me paranoid of bedbugs. 3) The fire alarm went off twice, for two beeps at 7:19am and then for several beeps at 7:38am. Jolted us out of our sleep. Ugh! 4) The shower curtain was falling apart. The pillows were small and square. There was a relatively large gap in the unit door, between the floor and the bottom of the door. We saw that other guests had stuffed a towel there so we did the same. 5) Housekeeping swung open our door *without first knocking* at 10:48am when check-out is at 11am. I was just about to get undressed so that I could change quickly into my day clothes.

+When I asked for an extra blanket and pillow, thy were provided.
−No breakfast room. They are in the process of a huge remodel. Therefore there was no guest laundry or vending machines.. The hallway our room was on was mostly remodeled already, but the security door had to be left open/unlocked. When we were unloading our car there was a homeless man, begging, which caused a dubious sense of security. We reserved an assessible room, but there were no handicap bars in the bathroom. So you can see, it was less than perfect.
