+The room was comfortable and very convenient to the port which was ideal for me as I had to catch a ferry the next day. The best thing about the guest house was the hospitality of the host, zeta, I think her name was. She was very friendly and helpful and made my stay there very enjoyable and comfortable.

+We had a lovely stay at Villa Mata. The woman was very welcoming and put our bags in the room for us ready for check in. The room was very nice and the decoration around the villa made it feel very homely and lovely. Would definitely stay again.
+This property was wonderful and the owner is so kind and helpful. It's like a 5 minute walk from both the beach and the bus stop to other towns, and is only like 8 minutes away from the port. I had a wonderful stay, and the whole property is so pretty and scenic.

+Absolutely fantastic view and great facilities - if you haven’t prepared a car or scooter rental be prepared for a challenging walk! Definitely worth it though, I would stay here in a heartbeat
+Villa Mata is fantastic place to stay in if you are travelling to Ios. The villa itself is beautiful, surrounded by a fruitful garden and a quick walk to the beach (~1 minute). Also it is very close to the port, a supermarket and Chora. Lambros was extremely kind and always ensured we had what we needed. We will definitely be back 🇨🇦
+The owner was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel itself is adorably quaint, but at the end of a large gravel lot. It’s a convenient walk to the port and walk (or bus) up to the Chora. The air conditioner didn’t work very well and the twin beds were uncomfortable. Overall a pleasant stay!

+Had an absolute terrific stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal only 1 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!!
