+How transparent the staff were in saying how noisy the pub can be with live music and closing time. We didn't actually find it as bad as we thought it'd be.
−The breakfast choice was vast, but a little dry although we were down at 8am.

+We booked last minute after an emergency, and our host setup our room superbly just in time for a much needed great night's sleep. Breakfast was included as added bonus .

+The staff are so friendly and helpful. Shannon really looked after my friend and I. I got a free upgrade to the 4 poster suite which was good

−Tyacks needs to decide on Friday and Saturday evenings, if they are a hotel or a “night club”!!! They advise there is an increase in noise because of live music, but I didn’t expect to lay in bed and the whole room shake with the bass being played as loud as possible. I like live music ie: a singer, but this was awful!!! Also when we tried to get into the reception entrance it was blocked by about 30 people smoking and drinking which wasn’t a very nice experience
