“Horrible on feeling safe and felt watched on”
+Beds were comfortable and main essentials were soered, the host were available and nice.
−2 nights room 206.😤 My daughter 13 and I had no privacy in what should be a personal space. No flyscreen in bathroom and kitchen, the vaneshian blinds did not close securely, i had to put a towl up still onto the blind so we felt comfortable. Also my daughter's blanket had looked to be poo on it🤔 All other rooms could see in the bathroom and than in the kitchen, the other Motel next door could see in our space and we could see there space (bedroom) What i booked looked nothing like its description.

“Good value and good location”
+We had an extremely spacious two bedroom suite and bathroom on top floor at rear of building away from the road. No noise from within the hotel over three nights over a weekend, just a little noise from outside the hotel. Location is great, close proximity to trams, light rail, the beach, Woolworths supermarket, bars etc Beds looked average but were surprisingly comfortable
−The hotel needs a spruce up, getting tired. There's no lift but it didn't bother us on the 3rd floor

−Nada. Había olor a humedad, y no parecía muy limpia la habitación. La alfombra se veía MUY sucia. El hotel NO tenía ascensor!

“Very dissapointing and difficult, I would not use this hotel again!”
+The size of the rooms, the bed and kitchen.
−The walls are not insulated from neighboring noise, I could not sleep due to the television noise from the next room. The bedroom blind was stuck all the way up. I had to struggle for a long time to get it down far enough. The shower hot water took far too long to come through, and it kept going intermittently suddenly cold.

“Good location and customer service but in need of better maintenance”
+Steven attended to me courteously during check-in. The facility is at a good location, accessible to tram, 1 minute away from a Thai restaurant that makes good meals and close to stores.
−Dirty and poorly maintained facility. I heard squeaking and scratching sounds above my room which sounded like mice.

“Tolarno Hotel is a diamond in the rough”
+Exceptional location with a tram stop out the front and a fabulous pub called the Fifth Province a short walk away, a Woolworths just beyond that which is very convenient. So much beautiful artwork to enjoy, comfortable beds and couch, a full kitchen, the shower was great. It’s vintage hotel vibes - it’s a little rough around the edges but packed with charm and soul. Friendly and helpful staff.
−You can hear everyone and everything around your room. Overall the room could probably use some TLC, like new carpet and some new pillows (some of them smelled bad)
