“Pleasant, but no where near worth the price, as much better places to stay for the rate being charged.”
+It’s a beautiful period room, in a good location.
−On arrival we were disappointed by the inn downstairs as it is in poor repair and feels run down. The bar feels unfriendly, although no specific complaints about the staff. The room however was cold and the heating turned off, which creates a poor first impression. A heater was provided on request.

+Old building, very characterful. Well located. Very friendly staff.
−Nothing. We were warned in advance about potential noise from the pub below but we weren’t disturbed at all

+I didn’t stay - it does look really lovely though.
−I booked this room last minute (this part is 100% my fault) and immediately tried to cancel when they informed me there would be live music until midnight (and they did not serve food). They completely ignored the messages from both me and booking.com. While I appreciate the cancellation policy and the short timeframe, they had only JUST received the booking and payment from me and I clearly wanted to cancel only in response to their message clarifying what my stay would be like. Even if they refused a refund, I expected a reply at minimum.

+La casa súper especial ! Muy bonita , muy cuidada , la habitación era preciosa
−Fueron muy fríos al recibirnos , muy poco hospitalarios , los vimos al llegar y nada más , ni un teléfono por si teníamos algún problema Luego el desayuno , sabíamos que era una cesta de picnic , pero no era variado.

“There was no stay and never will be.”
+I didn't like anything
−Booked for the night of my mothers funeral as it said it was a relaxing and historic place. At 2am of the morning of the funeral I received an email telling me there was to be a loud DJ set until midnight - and I was welcome to join - obviously not what I wanted to do on such a traumatic day. My messages were ignored so in the midst of the wake I had to phone them - I was met with a junior member of staff - the manager never phoned or spoke to me although I asked. I was told 'its not our policy to refund' - it is their policy to take your money, be rude and unhelpful - they do not state on Booking.com that they have events which will disturb you. I wasn't even offered another date they just took my money - then asked for a review - well here you go. Perhaps being human and sensitive could be added to your training - because my goodness you need to sort out your 'policies'. I hope Booking.com removes you for not fully disclosing your property does not offer peace but in fact no sleep on some Fridays and Saturdays - but only to be revealed at 2am when it is too late to cancel your booking.

“Originele mooi kamer in een uniek pand”
+Leuke plek om een paar dagen te zijn. De kamer was mooi en schoon. Locatie in het dorp met goede restaurants in de omgeving.

+Everything. We had everything we needed. The building is stunning inside and out. Very unique and beautiful! Staff were amazing!
