“Intriguing Old English Night Stop!”
+Beautiful location and local history. Food was very tasty. Breakfast by the fire and background music was a great start to the day.
−Some strange noises at night! Bedroom door was not lockable from the inside. Alot of steps to navigate with luggage - fine for us but could be tricky for others.

“Beautiful little place in a lovely area, worth a visit”
+the breakfast was great couldnt fault it at all, the staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to make us welcome. I would recommend to anyone there was plenty of choice on the menu.

+Amazing breakfast. Loved that you fill in a form the day before the breakfast so that it is all ready and laid out for you. The staff were friendly, there was always someone available and they bent over backwards to help. The evening meal was very good. The room was spacious, clean and had lovely bedding. The pipes were a little noisy in one of our rooms and we could hear the shower in the room next door (which awoke us early) but other than that the rooms were great. The location is amazing. Just a half hour drive into the mountains in the Lake District and I suspect the same with the Yorkshire Peaks too. Ample parking. The Fairy Stones were just a short walk straight from the Wheatsheaf and well worth checking out. We will definitely be going back again.
