+Clean rooms, nice bathroom. Nice staff.
−Breakfast wasn't good... Make sure you get there early. Mouldy bread.. Location ok. Bit far away from bigger towns... Rooms Nice & clean but you can hear neighbouring rooms...

“Wouldnt recommend”
−Very basic.When booking through booking.com there was no info regarding the fact you would be staying in an annex at back of main building.very misleading photos of rooms which are the ones in the main building.we were very disappointed to see our rooms were very small and basic and not at all like the photos shown. Carpets were filthy.Shower not inviting and old. Breakfast okay but had to ask for cutlery fresh food and very hostel serve yourself vibe.

+Breakfast was ok, nothing special but as we didn't have to pay extra for it, it was fine.
−Contacted the hotel before our stay to check that they had accessible rooms as I am a wheelchair user. Was told that the room was accessible but there was "a slight lip" getting into the room. On arrival, found that the "slight lip" was too high to get into the room in my wheelchair. My husband had to help me out of my chair and then get my chair into the room separately. Also, once inside the room there were no handrails in the bathroom, no seat for inside the shower nor any other feature that one would expect from an accessible hotel room. The only saving grace was that I could get my wheelchair around the bed. As we arrived late afternoon and were staying for just one night, we did not make a complaint but I was very disappointed as this was a treat for my birthday.

+The rooms where clean and fairly good size, staff were amazing, help with us being able to keep things in the fridge/freezer over night for our new born baby. Would 100% recommend, also venue is not far from shops or the center

+Very first impression was that the annexe looked a bit dated, but inside the room things were fine - a good size room, very comfortable bed, good size tv. Breakfast was good too.

“Pub rooms not up to scratch”
+Location
−Beds in the pub rooms need replacing. Very lumpy and uncomfortable. Carpet in the breakfast room very stained, so off putting. The stairs/landing to the pub located rooms grubby with what looked like a small drop of blood on the wall. No meals served in the evening currently., we had to go to another pub a few miles away. The breakfast offering was adequate but a long wait for hot food, perhaps due to staffing levels for 14 guests eating at similar times. We will be visiting the area often over the next couple of years but will not be staying here again. I rarely leave poor reviews but felt it appropriate this time regarding the rooms in the main pub building.
